We met in high school, in an archery class at the end of the school day. Rumor had it that Malia had temporarily hated Brent in the beginning due to pride that was quickly ran out of town. From there on we slowly became friends and enjoyed playing games together via text message like 2 truths and a lie. We truly enjoyed each other company, we shared memes from Pinterest and have inside jokes along with some our friends, Rapunzel and Flinn Rider being the most referenced. We have helped each other through the bumps in the road and enjoyed the highs that we have gotten to experience together. On August 11, 2023, we had a date in Bend Or. in the Old Mill District, the date was a water lantern festival the day was full of fun and excitement. we got to decorate our own lanterns and let them float on the water, though they had sunk better then float. We had yummy food and fun with some of their activities. When we had released the lanterns and watched them float/sink by Brent had asked the nearest stranger to take our photo as he decided to ask the question. Ever sense that special moment we knew that we would like a smaller wedding with our close friends!
